missingWrote a review on Dec 29hot tubnorthwoods feelclean roomssteep parking
The lodge features a hot tub, providing an excellent way to unwind after a day of exploring. The rooms are clean and have a northwoods feel with pine ceilings, nice furniture, and a small kitchenette, making it ideal for families or couples looking for a cozy stay.
Parking near the cabins is steep and not the easiest with luggage or kids. The long stairs to the cabin were awkward and unexpected, and the TV placement wasn’t convenient for viewing from the bed. Bright neon lights from the nearby gas station shined through mini-blinds, making it tough to sleep well. heavy curtains would help significantly. Additionally, the breakfast offered is basic and doesn't really impress, which was a letdown after a day of exploring.

The cabin was super cute and clean, and having a porch was a nice touch for enjoying the morning coffee. Smelled fresh when we walked in. It felt cozy, like being at a home away from home. But breakfast choices were a bit limited, not much variety to pick from. Overall, though, we were happy with our stay!

The one-bedroom cottage was charming and had a lovely porch, perfect for morning coffee. Its location allowed easy walking access to town and nearby Custer State Park attractions. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, with grab-and-go options like bagels and muffins. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was not operational during our visit, which was disappointing, and the response from management about the situation left much to be desired.
